Right to Life of Sanilac Co. presents the 3rd Annual Run for Life 1 Mile Run/Walk and 5K Run/Walk, Saturday, June 26 at Diamond Trail near Maple Valley School, 138 Maple Valley St., Sandusky, MI.
START: 8:00 a.m. - 1 Mile Run/Walk; then at 8:30 a.m. - 5K Run/Walk.
Same day registration & packet pick-up at 7:30 a.m.
Awards for the 1 Mile: First, Second and Third Overall in Male & Female (no age groups)
Awards for the 5K: Male & Female divisions: 9 & Under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & Over
All race awards will be given out in the Pavilion at the end of the 5K race. Finish line pictures will be taken as well. Timing results will be posted on-site and on Facebook. All participants will get a finisher medal and a T-shirt.
The 1 mile will utilize the Diamond Trail. The 5K will use a well marked course through the city streets of Sandusky, some gravel roads and will finish on the paved Diamond Trail. Both races will be timed.
PLEASE try to keep your social distancing skills at work! Masks are recommended during pre and post event festivities. NO MASKS are required during the run/walk.
SMILE--Finish line pictures will be taken as well.
Water, Gatorade and pre-packaged snacks will be provided following the race.
WE WILL BE following social distancing guidelines to the best of our ability. Water may NOT be offered on the course. Please be prepared.
Proceeds from this event will help support Right to Life of Sanilac County.
Refreshments and snacks are available at the finish under the pavilion.

5K COURSE MAP: Start at the Diamond Trail, head East, then towards Maple Valley Road and exit the trail and immedialtey turn and head Noorth on Maple Valley to Speaker Street. Follow the yellow signs around town back to the Diamond Trail. You will finish your last mile on the paved trail.
GREEN ARROWS: head out onto the 5K course.
RED ARROWS: head back into finish the 5K course.
